The Foster + Partners-designed scheme includes world class Bond Street retail on the ground and first floors with offices from the second to ninth floors. A number of facades will be sensitively lifted through innovative engineering to align the floorplates above, creating four spectacular two-storey retail units that will benefit from increased floor heights.
Point 2 carried out detailed 3D Point Cloud surveys of the existing property to create an immersive 3D Revit Model which was used for planning and design purposes. We then returned to site at the post strip-out stage to re-survey the building focusing on recording all retained and newly visible structural information. The project Revit model was updated accordingly and used within the advanced architectural and structural design and development work.
